How You Become You
How You Become You: The Snowman Example
In this framework, we explain How You Become You using a simple yet powerful analogy: building a snowman. This metaphor illustrates how your thoughts shape your beliefs, which in turn solidify into your personal truths, ultimately forming your identity.
1. Thought (Snowflake)
Everything starts with a single thought (just like the first snowflake in a snowfall).
A snowflake on its own is delicate, fleeting, and doesn’t have much impact. Similarly, a single thought may seem insignificant at first, but if you continue to focus on it, it gains momentum—ultimately attracting more thoughts of similar vibration.
2. Belief (Pile of Snow)
A belief is simply a thought you keep thinking.
What started as a delicate thought (snowflake) has now become a belief (pile of snow) as thoughts of similar vibration have started to accumulate due to The Law of Attraction.
“What is like unto itself is drawn.” The more you think a thought, the more you attract thoughts (snowflakes) of similar vibration. This accumulation of similar thoughts, or vibrations, creates vibrational momentum.
You now have an established thought pattern in your brain that is becoming part of your default programming. Whether your perspective on the subject you’re focused on produces a negative or positive emotion within you, these thoughts that are activated over and over again form thought patterns. These thought patterns become your beliefs, and beliefs start to dictate how you see the world.
3. Truth (Snowball)
A belief validated by manifestation becomes a truth.
When a thought pattern is continuously activated by giving more energy and focus to it (vibrational momentum), a belief transforms into matter by becoming a real, tangible manifestation. At this point, it becomes a truth since you have real evidence to support your belief.
Your pile of snow has been compacted and shaped, becoming a snowball—a solid structure. However, these “truths” are not universal; they are simply deeply held beliefs that have manifested in your life experience.
4. Identity (Snowman)
Your identity is who you truly believe you are. These are your “I am…” statements.
When you adopt a snowball (truth) as part of your snowman, your identity is altered.
Your sense of self is a direct result of the thoughts, beliefs, and truths you’ve stacked up over time. The good news? Just like a snowman, your identity isn’t fixed. You can reshape it at any time by thinking a new thought. Every piece of your identity first had a genesis in thought!
