Emotional Guidance Scale
What is the Emotional Guidance Scale (EGS)?
The Emotional Guidance Scale, often associated with the teachings of Abraham Hicks, is a tool designed to help individuals understand and navigate their emotions.Â
We have created the image below to mimic spirals because we can vibrationally “spiral” up or down in our emotions due to the Law of Attraction bringing like thoughts to us and those thoughts building momentum. The downward spiral (down arrow) ranges from emotions (8) boredom to (22) fear/grief/depression/despair/powerlessness. The spiral increases in size as it goes down to match the momentum and intensity of the negative emotions. The upward spiral (up arrow) ranges from emotions (7) contentment to (1) joy/knowledge/empowerment/freedom/love/appreciation. In the same way, the spiral increases in size as it goes up to match the momentum and intensity of the positive emotions.
The EGS emphasizes the importance of paying attention to our emotions as our guidance system. Unpleasant emotions signal a misalignment with one’s true self, while positive emotions indicate alignment. By focusing on thoughts and activities that bring about better feeling, higher-vibrational emotions, we can attract more positive experiences into our lives and enhance our overall well-being.
The Emotional Guidance Scale serves as a practical guide for making deliberate choices in thoughts and emotions to create a more fulfilling and harmonious life.
